Bio

Global (Institution of Eminence Deemed to be University). She is a Ph.D. scholar in Development Economics from the Oxford Brookes Business School, Oxford Brookes University, UK. With an International Ford Foundation Fellowship, she holds M.A. in Gender and Development from the Institute of Development Studies (IDS), University of Sussex, UK. She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Rural Development with a specialization in Project Management from Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS). Before joining the O.P. Jindal Global, she worked with the Regent’s University London as Visiting Lecturer in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. Besides these, she carries extensive research and consultancy experience with the MART, PRAXIS, Development Alternatives, Aide et Action, and NGOs like Jan Jagran Sansthan & JPMVK. She works extensively in livelihoods and enterprise development, skills development, agribusiness, value chain development, women empowerment, poverty alleviation programs, and other research impact studies in different parts of India, Bangladesh, and Nepal. Her research unravels the gendered impact of mining-led industrialization on women and on indigenous communities through eco-socialist and feminist lenses. She reviews articles for international journals, including Technological Forecasting & Social Change, International Journal for Finance and Economics, Journal of Asian and African Studies, Journal of Global Entrepreneurship Research, Financial Innovation and World Journal of Entrepreneurship, and Management and Sustainable Development.
