Cynthia Lane is the General Manager of the Platte Canyon Water & Sanitation District, which is located in the southwest Denver metro area.  In this role she leads a team of 14 staff to operate and manage the drinking water distribution and wastewater collection systems for Platte Canyon and four other special districts.  She previously was the Director of Engineering & Technical Services for the American Water Works Association and worked for several years in their Washington, DC office, engaging in a variety of water policy initiatives. Ms. Lane holds a civil engineering degree from Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Environmental Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.  She is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Maryland.
